The 2nd of May was a beautiful day in the North West of England. The sun was shining and the college fields were flocked with students. But I was stuck in the politics classroom, trying to ooze information out of pages of words. In the UK sunny days are a rarity yet when the sun decides to grace us with its presence, we are indoors surrounded by 4 walls and glass. If only we could change our ideals and take the classroom outside?
So as I sat in politics, I wrote the following prose...
Change
The 4 walls stare; creeping closer and closer.
You look to the window for refuge, yet only see the trees and grass. Alone.
"Come eat my fruits and feel my grass. Come roll in the hay and feel the warmth of my sun", nature says.
But the classroom pulls you back, locks you to a chair and throws away the key.
All hope is lost.
But little do you know, change is coming.
Change runs fast till it stops at the door. "Let me in", it demands. "For change has come."
